Setting up an event-based data model to ensure interoperability and allow for data sharing (WG1)

The INTERCEPTOR (Interception of Oral Cancer) COST Action tackles the challenge of inadequate oral cancer prevention and aims to introduce a new paradigm for managing oral potentially malignant disorders (OPMD). Leveraging high-quality translational research, patient care, and education in cancer medicine across Europe, INTERCEPTOR will develop future strategies for personalized prevention and care of OPMD. A multidisciplinary approach will engage and target a range of key stakeholders to ensure long-term success. The event will allow working group (WG) 1 (Disease care management of patients with OPMD), on defining a minimal dataset encompassing clinical, pathological, and molecular/cellular information for OPMDs, as well as selecting the most relevant ontologies.
